BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Few are interested in working on a
project as complex as this one. Still fewer have the opportunity to do so.
Numbering about two dozen or so, and mostly in our 50s and 60s, our volunteers
come from all branches of service and the community. We have diverse backgrounds
but most of us have been associated with aviation either in the military or as
employees of aerospace companies. Many are former flight crew/pilots, either
private or commercial, with a few flight instructors. Four of our crew come as
far away as the West Coast and Florida and stay for a weekend or more depending
on their available time. On a typical weekend day, we average about 6
volunteers and sure could use some more help!! If you would like to come
and help, please call Al Weiss and let him know. We have a 20’
camping trailer which provides unrivaled luxury for out of town
volunteers. Support volunteers are needed for administrative work in
your home, Fund Raising, Public Relations, Marketing and liaison with
businesses and veterans groups in your area.
